Production
Coordinating shoots from pre-production through post. Directors, talent, crew, and timelines, across music videos, visualizers, and brand campaigns.
Keith “KJ” Larson is a Los Angeles-based creative, producer, and marketer with a passion for storytelling, culture, and the ideas that bring people together. With a background spanning marketing, live events, music production, and business development, he's always been drawn to the space where creativity and strategy meet.
For Keith, social media is more than content. It's a way to build a world around a brand. Whether it's capturing a moment, shaping a visual identity, or finding the story that makes people stop scrolling, he believes the best work feels natural, memorable, and worth sharing.
There's always a story worth telling. Keith's job is to make people want to listen.
Social ad campaign commissioned by the Dr. Martens social team. Sourced the location, talent, and props, then appeared in the spot alongside the talent I cast. Ran on the brand’s owned channels, including @drmartensofficial (3.1M followers) and @drmartensusa (228K).
Producer and assistant director. Built the call sheet, locked the location, and coordinated the choir so the group stayed in sync on camera. Ran the day on time, sending PAs out on pickups and keeping the director moving when we started to fall behind.
Produced quarterly live music events in San Diego, each drawing 250 to 400 people. Owned venue communication, scheduling, guest lists, and logistics, plus the promo content and social marketing that filled the room.

Shooting vertical on set, on tour, and in the crowd, then cutting it fast enough that it still feels like right now. Finding the niches inside a fandom and giving them something to make.
Reading culture and the data at the same time. A sound is only worth chasing when it actually fits the artist.
The marketing side. Clear weekly numbers, plus the campaign and partnership thinking behind why they moved.
